Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri 25th March, 2016: The election campaigners of various parties yesterday were involved in celebrating Holi festival in full scale with the common people in Dhupguri. This involved the ‘Kado Khela’ or Mud Holi of Rajbanshi Culture. Even the contestants were also seen playing holi along with the campaigners and the common people. The ward of Dhupguri municipality i.e. 1, 2, 3, and 4 witnessed such ‘Kado Khela’ of the Holi festival. In local language ‘Kado’ means mud. The mud is smeared in the faces of the people and enjoyed just like Holi colors. However, it was ensured that the celebrations don’t cross the ethical limits. Overall, people enjoyed Holi in true Rajbanshi flavour here in Dhupguri.
